Clearing Codes in Air Bag Module
I had a failed Air Bag Module in my 1998 A8Q. I was lucky enough to find a used replacement through a member of this website.
When my mechanic installed the replacement used module the airbag light came back on with the codes : G179 and G180 for the Front Crash Sensors. He reset them several times and after a few ingnition key cycles the light and codes popped back on.
My car has never been in a crash and my crash sensors are good.
Can anyone tell me how we need to Clear the Historical Codes that must be in the Air Bag Module ??
