clicking sound from front when turning left

clicking sound from front when turning left

2001 A8L. I hear a clicking sound from front left wheel when i am making a left turn. What would cause this?

sounds like outer CV joint on that side

I believe it would be on the right hand side if it makes the noise when turning left
