clicking sound in steering column

clicking sound in steering column
My 2001 A8 has a clicking sound every seven minutes that seems to come from the steering column around the ignition key. It's always three sets of clicks with a small pause in between. I know you guys know what it is... .

I don't have it either so

I did it the wrong way and just disconnected this yellow plug.
.
This hvac flap may not be the one that is bad in your car- it has been posted on this forum that there are more than one and this is just the one that was bad on my car. Put your head down there and listen to make sure this is the one that is clicking before tearing the car apart.
