Press and hold the recirc button, and then press the vent control up arrow. The left temp indicator then displays a code number, and the right temp indicator it's value. Page up or down thru the codes with the temp + or - buttons.

33 = speed
36 and 37 = voltage
59 = rpm/10
102 = coolant temp as read by the instrument cluster

for the coolant temperature, because my thermostat is not working right, but 102 in my '98 gives me outside temperature. Do you know, if there is a coolant code for the pre-facelift models?

the search feature for this forum isn't good, in fact it's terrible. I can't even find my own old posts.
