Default clogged heater core

need advise on unclogging heater core on 2000 which has oil sludge

is this the result of an oil cooler leak? Have not heard of a heater core getting clogged before.

yes, bigtime, radiator aslo totally plugged.

Must have been a helluva leak... try pumping Safety-Clean thru them.

Default Calgon or other dishwasher soap...

was suggested and used by others on the urS list to clean out the cooling system after say mixing two incompatible collants resulting in gelling. This would seem to like something to use after you get some flow tho since you say it is "totally plugged". Note this is soap for the dishwasher not the high sudsing stuff for hand dishwashing.
