you'll never get that lusty high gloss shine you get from Brilliant Black, especially after it has been properly detailed.. brilliant black looks like ebony pearl black after a while from the dirt anyway.. Swirl marks are from poor detail jobs, or cars that have been washed with an abrasive cloth...

Hello
After much debate I decided to go with Silver exterior and Black interior. Thank you all for your opinions.
My second choice was brilliant black with camel but the silver looks great and hides swirls the best. I hate swirl marks. I sold an otherwise perfect black BMW 750il because it had swirls marks that would not polish out. It drove me nuts. I debated between the black and silver exterior long and hard. I’m astatically challenged so I asked a graphic artist who works with me for his opinion too. He strongly suggested the silver and I love black interiors so that is that. The car is ordered and my dealer sold me the car for $500 over invoice. I expect delivery in 12 weeks any my dealer has given me a loaner car to use until my A8 shows up. Quite a wait, but worth it nonetheless.
John

I never heard of that sort of arrangement anywhere... What kind of loaner are they giving you out of curiosity?? What dealer has this arrangement??

YES, I've got a loaner 1995 Audi A6 for 12 weeks. Letters from my lawyers and a few calls from the trouble shooter, Tom Martino, WABC work wonders for deal making. Most important of all the dealer is doing the right thing and I'm greatful. They gave me a loaner car since day one and have agreed to let me keep it for a while.
John

They don't do the right thing out of the goodness of their hearts, never believe that. They only do it when customers start threatening to spread bad news. I went through a situation and nothing was going to be done until I made shlt hit the fan and word was spreading quickly. THEN my phone rang. I am glad things are working out for you but they are happening because YOU made it work not because the car dealer is kind hearted.
