considering purchase of 2001 S8....tuning options?

hello:

What/where/who is a good resource for exhaust, suspension and engine mods for the S8. Who is the resident expert here and what have you done to your car??

There's not much to do, probably brakes only + supercharger, MTM.

Exhaust upgrades are 100% custom; <a href="http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=1,20,22,25,27,3&Number=246410&pag e=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1">Swen's Exhaust</a> is undoubtedly the best.

I don't know of anyone here with a motor upgrade. Since chips are worth only about 15 hp, I believe everyone's concluded they're not worth the money.

<a href="http://www.movit.de/">Movit</a> has an S8 brake upgrade. I've gone with a custom <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/38595.phtml">Alcon Front</a> and a <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/38595.phtml">Stasis Rear</a>. I've long had issues with S8 brakes, this post contains links to the <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/38595.phtml">The Saga</a>.

Unless you track your S8, the OE suspension is hard to beat. An H&R Upgrade is possible.
