Need to replace my front,right-upper-rear control arm. Is this something I can do myself without special tools. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Just had somebody else do it on my car, A8CT did it on his....he dropped the strut down and then it unbolted easily....my mechanic unbolted a few bolts that bolt the plate to the unibody of the car.
I think A8CT is still driving the U.S. somewhere....

a piece of cake if you have the strut out. It is possible to do the curved upper w/o taking the strut out but it's a pain only because the spring is right in the way of the ? (bolt or nut, I forget which). If you have the strut out just unbolt the entire sub frame from up top (4 or 5 bolts) and the whole thing drops down. Once you have it out you can easily change either/both uppers.

thats the thing. how difficult is it to get the strut to pull out? It looks simple but others have said it has been a bear to get the thing out.
I wanted to do my upper arms and wanted to know before getting involved.
