Default Control Arms - No Issue - 99% not being replaced w recall

My car that Paul called "loose as a goose" was not part of the recall for the lower control arms. I went to Fletcher Jones in Chicago and he said they only had one A4 that they replaced the control arms. Evidently, the recall goes beyond the A8s.

I hate to get some people excited about the thought of having your control arms replaced by Audi as part of this recall. I was suprised he said not many were being replaced. Whats the purpose of a recall?
