Default does coolant evaporate over time? you bet, ever have to fill a waterbed even when

no apparent leaks?

yup. maybe so. just seems weird that all the other fluids would be at the correct levels and you would think that the car would function improperly with low fluids. maybe audi set the level lines jacked way up on pupose to keep levels high, so you keep extra coolant for emergencies???

Yes, over time fluids do tend to "disappear" but you are talking about a short period of time. Assume it was low to begin with, fill it and dont worry about it. Disclaimer=IMHO!!

Never had that particular problem with either a D2 or D3. I would fill it up and watch it.

Default How about a sightglass in the dash so you could literally "watch it".

How about an icon in the MMI for the D3s showing the radiator level? amke that the coolant level. We already know that thr radiator isnt level by 13mm! LOL
