Correct lube for starter mechanism?

Default Correct lube for starter mechanism?

How do you remove the starter anyways? I'm curious as the Bentley manual says to "remove engine"

Tozo,
Does your link mean that you actually do have to remove the engine or transmission to remove the starter? If that is the case WOW!!!

Not quite. If you look at the procedure, the starter comes out prior to removing the transmission (must be removed to access the TQ bolts). But you do need to drop the subframe and right engine mount bracket.
