Default Cross country survival kit

Doing a round trip/cross country trip starting Monday. I did the rear brakes last night and just need to change the oil and then I'm good to go. I'm putting together a bag of tools and will bring the VAG laptop as well. Any thoughts on what the tool kit should contain ? So far I have:

10m,13m, 14m, 17m, 18m wrenches
duct tape
slotted, phillip screwdrivers
hose repair kit
gal antifreeze
droplight (I hardwired a 400w power inverter just above the battery)
knife

thanks guys.

Default Sounds like you are ready.

One last item would be a set of allen wrenches in case you have to remove the engine covers. Quart of oil? Bring some great CDS and have an awesome trip! Safe travels.

Default No, but ...

It weighs only 25 lb and stores in a reasonably compact hard case. I added padding in the case to keep the jack from rattling around.

BTW: Does the D3 use the same jack as the D2?

Oil and windshield washer fluid? A mat to kneel on. A good coffee mug. Good luck :-)
