This scrap yard franchise is known to have the lowest prices (same prices for parts regardless of the vehicle it came from) based on the fact that their customers pull it from the cars themselves.
Check out their price list, most of my buddies got their complete 01E's for under 300$ from there
I've been seeing D2s and even a C5 S6 in the U-pull listings around here (Denver area). Pretty sad, but I was close to sending my 2001 that way. Decided to fix the cam pads, etc. instead. We'll see how it goes longer-term.
If you search for an ebay car parts seller in the vicinity of the yard you want parts from, you could email them to see if they pull from that yard and if they'll get you stuff.
