Default If only two litres, hopefully you escaped with little to no problems

How do you talk to the dealer? I don't know, unless they want to give you a free oil change down the road, there won't be much that they will do for you.

Really glad to hear that your tranny is running good again.....that's more important than anything.

Default Re: Damn I'm angry next leven

Went this morning to the dealer and said that there was not enough fluid refilled and the trans maybe dammaged cause of that. Dealer said that the filling was accordingly to the specs. We both agreed we do the refill again and see who's wrong. Stayed there tho whole time. Drain fluid from trans, refill first time with the engine off. Did refill with engine running. Upto this point there was 3 liters of fluid used. Than running at idle, going to all the gear for aprox 5 seconds and than check level again. At this point there was an additional filling of 1 liter that was not done with the last change. We agreed I was driving the trans for 6000 kilometrs with 1 liter short of fluid. Since the refill was properly done this time I'm gonna check the trans by driving it for a while. The dealer is thinking about a sollution.

Will be continued
Greetings,
Archy

Default When you do the fill procedure, you should run it through the gears multiple times

And hold it for 20 or more seconds in each gear. It's fill the hydraulic passageway and it takes time for it to vent out all the air.

When I did it, held each gear for 30 or more seconds 2 or 3 times and it kept taking more and more fluid.

So I said that it maybe longer and more in each gear. But this wasent the meaning in the filling procedure. According to the filing procedure it has to be done 1 time. At filling they kept monitoring the fluid temperature because it may not cross the 30 degree celcius because the fluid s expanding from that temerature on. That is the reason there is only 1 time running trough the gears.
Greeting,
a bit happier archy
