the center dash that today I pulled the center vent and radio.
After taping the two main halves of the center vent the worst of the rattle dissapeared.
I will also pad all the wiring for the radio but want to fit a roof screen for the DVD/PC so will wait for the tech to finish first.
The slope in the roof directly behind the front interior light looks just the right size for a screen that will incorporate a reversing cam.

reverse cam........mmmmm like this ;O)
Having nav-plus / Tv in the car, there is a video input AV channel on the TV function, so this is where i thought a would make use of it. I did not really need a reverse camera as i have front / rear park sensors, but as its just cool i thought i would do one to
I did not want to take me boot lock out and definately didnt want to drill a hole in my bumper, so there was only one place left... heres what i did
Kinda matches up with the boot lock on the other side as there is a blank there. I wired mine up to a switch so its not powered all the time, just switch it on when you want, this will allow another video input if you only have one like on the early Nav-plus systems

heres what it looks like, image is very good in colour and infared at night to, obviously taking the image with another camera makes it look a bit weird

He he, and if you've hacked your TV like i have for TV on the move, heres 3 vids of driving up the road and reversing onto my drive he heh he (sorry for the wobbles etc, hard to drive and film at same time) + illegall
NOTE:- the image / film is much better in real life, i had to convert the format etc to from my digi cam .MOV format
Good for looking at the fit women in the car behind you ( not when the wifes there tho )+ maybe plain clothes traffic cops etc

Well I am more interested in how you mounted the camera, and how you sealed the hole. I do not want the camera to fall in after my wife presses the camera thinking its the trunk open button

The camera i used has a lip on the lens it which is wider than the body of the camera, behind that it has an 'o' ring seal, so once the body nut behind is done up, it fits tight and snug and your wife definately won't push it thru ;o)
i also appied some self adhesive foam trim to the inside if the light lens, this also provides an additional seal and also stops the camera tightening to hard against the lens of the light cluster.
