Dash Rings Installed.

Dash Rings Installed.
So I installed the dash rings this morning. Removing the dash was a pita. After bringing my dash into my apartment, I realized that I did not have any slim torx screw drivers for the back of the dash, so I had to drive to Autozone with no dash in the car! Luckily it was only about a quarter mile away.

The rings fit well into the holes, they squeeze in with no problem. The install was different compared to the procedure on Audipages. My dash did not have small spacing between the rims and dash to put the glue in. Either the rings were too fat or my dash is different (99 A8?).
I put krazy glue on the rims of the rings and pressed them into the holes and flipped the dash to let gravity do it's work. I had to be extremely careful with the larger rings because I had to apply the glue on first and then squeeze them back through the hole and install. Big rings went through with no problem, they did not bend, they just flex the plastic dash a little with no damage whatsoever. The rings look and aren't fat. Looks even nicer at night. I suggest using a silicone adhesive to avoid a mess.

Thanks everyone. Damn it, nothing gets past you guys, my fiance was in the car with me!
I admit I don't always win. My universal remote even gets shared, it has a his/hers channels feature...
