I had a '87 5K QT with Alantra seats, hope you dont get in and out a lot...
in a year I wore two holes in the driver seat, which turned in to more of a big tear rather quickly.

I 'm under the impression that Alcantara wasn't available as a seating option until 2000
My father in law had an Audi of that vintage with cloth interior - his certainly wasn't Alcantara.
Was the seating in your 87 custom made?
