Glad you're OK. Here's a portable alternative.
Hydraulic scissor jack in plastic case. Case measures 16x7x6.

Thanks! I am still in awe over had poorly they are made..
...this scissor jack looks pretty cool..and the price is great! Thank you for the tip.... I will have to get this..

Looking for other portable alternatives. ...
This looks like a very stable scissors jack, and it might be worth the price if it had about another 5" of lift. I doubt that 9.5" is enough.
