Same goes for VW and other euro makes who badge their cars or install (egad!) the "gold package". Their is a Volvo dealership nearby me who is really pushing gold emblems for their cars. Volvos are easy on the eyes until you pimp it out with gold.

Actually I just ordered a new Volvo, V70R and made it a condition of sale that if there is any kind of dealer badging on the car, it is theirs! I am OK with the license plate frames, easily changed out!

I like the way the letters and numbers from Audi look. Why hide what you have? Tell the world what it is!

Must admit I've never understood debadging. If you take 'em off, looks to me like you're actually trying to draw MORE attention your car, not make it more 'stealth'. And it leads one to believe you don't want everyone around you to see what car you have.
I agree with Pots about removing dealer badges...hate 'em, and never understood why they get on there in the first place...seems to be more of an east coast phenomenon...don't see many dealer badges out west. But I'd leave mfr badges in place.

replace my removed "A8" and "4.2" with "A4" "1.8t".
;-D
I like the aura of mystery. It's a non-descript white sedan, and people who don't know what it is don't expect much out of it. I like that.

...and although I'm not a de-badging guy, it did look "interesting." I still wouldn't do it myself, but I can understand some folks liking it.
