Decision time - buy solid 02 w/ 61k, or check out 01 w/ 62k and 02 w/ 79k?

Bruce,
Whenever I read the prices for the cars bought I feel good about my purchase from you. For the rest of you lurkers and potential purchasers I bought my loaded 01 S8, in very good condition, with ~84K miles for ~ $18.5K. by the way Andorra Red is the fastest color!
Whatever you do, buy one of these, they are addictive, I came from a UrS6 and the S8 car is at least the same leap from a UrA6 to a UrS6

I'd buy the '02. $18-19000 for these cars is the best bargain on the planet. Plus, I think they come with the satellite radio- a big plus if you're an xm or sirius junkie. If you spend $3000 less than on the '01, you'll have more $$ for upgrades. Get the car you really want and enjoy it. A few $$ here or there won't matter once you're sitting behind the wheel and revelling in the entire S experience!

I have a Ming Blue (A8 anyway) and it seems plenty fast to me. Granted I never thought to compare the cars' performance based on color, just seems ludicrous.

First and foremost you *must* pay attention to the author. Anything and everything that Sir Krasusky (self proclaimed hoor) and troller extraordinaire sez must be evaluated from all angles to ensure that he is not trying to entice you to nibble at the bait. That said, I have a Ming //S8 and yes it is indeed the slowest of all colors but who cares since chicks dig it. That is all.

Ah well, chalk it up to being a new guy around here. That's very interesting that different colors have different speeds. Is that why Ming Blue is "rare"? Hmmm
