Decision time - buy solid 02 w/ 61k, or check out 01 w/ 62k and 02 w/ 79k?

I checked out a few A8/S8's.. and one in Fairfax, VA was the cleanest (02, 62k miles, silver on black.. asking $25k, offered $21k and they said no, then called everyday since then and I havent talked to them)..
But, I checked one out next to a few newer BMWs, drove a 545 after the S8, and then a 530i 6-speed. Took the 530i home. I've been driving rentals and my Jeep, and the p-cars stay in the garage most of the time.. so the 6-speed as a daily driver excited me.
Oh well. I'm still getting a warranty thru Bruce, so all is not lost here :-) I still have my ACNA sticker on all my cars, and do the Audi corral at Sebring, one day I'll get into Audis again!
