Defeat of brake pad warning light-- did not work

I thought I'd go somewhere and just pay to have someone put the entire harness for the pad warning lights in and get it over with. The stealer replaced the harness on both sides ($$$$). This failed to work. Then they shorted out the harness behind the cluster. Today the da*& light came back on and comes on all the time. It used to come on only when I turned the wheel just a few degrees too far to the right. Not any longer. It is worse. The dealer is trying to blame the cluster now. Could it be the clockspring connector between the wheel and the column? That is the only thing I can think of that is sensitive to steering wheel rotation.
Now I have to go back to the idiots who replaced the entire harness, did not fix it, shorted the cluster wiring, that did not work-- perhaps the wiring came apart behind the cluster-- but I think I might have to ask for help from the "world". I just want to fix this car up so I can sell it, and I although I love to drive it, I cannot stand dealing with simple stuff like this that the damn dealer cannot even fix right. Come on. Could the dealer be right and think I am going to pay for a new cluster? It does not make sense, as everything else in the cluster works perfectly well.

It's pretty simple, the wire needs to be grounded out. They probably used insulation displacement connectors and it came loose.
