Gents,

My car's CD player takes too long to play home made CDs. When I burn these Cds, I always make sure they are made to be playable on any CD player which they do with any other CD player but once in my Car's CD changer, it might take close to my reaching my destination before it plays if at all. Now that isn't the case with an Off the shelf CD.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Also can I easily swap the Delta with a Concert if I can find a working used one?

Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure if the issue is the CD changer and if the changer would work with the Delta radio controls. I am hoping PaulW or one of the other D2 kingpins can help with this question.

I was of the impression that I need to have the Concert Radio system for the PhatBox to work.

With a Concert from a '98 so that I could use a Phatbox. The swap wasn't very difficult, but I did need to splice a few wires, and run a new cable from the trunk to the head unit.

which I long since forgot. Or maybe I was just dreaming when I got it for the S6 but being as frugal as I am I doubt it. Oh yeah, come to think of it I did get a new headunit to go along with the Phatty. Never mind and thx Doug for keeping me honest.
