Diehard no longer makes our battery... but NAPA has one...
I'm picking one up later today, NAPA Legend 850CCA with a vent. 114 USD
My failed headlight buzzer has finally cost me a battery :-(
I think I'll put headlights on an ignition relay.

they now make the DieHard Platinum. Fits the A8 perfect. Great battery but $189

That's strange. An Autozone search yeterday said not available. Of course there was a lot of imbibing going on....Today they list an $85.00 Duralast. And Sears told me "no match" online and at a store I called. I suspect Rod Serling is invoved somehow. Or ethanol.
Maybe I'll get that one. It's cheaper.

Guy at sears lied to you......
I was standing at the computer when the guy looked up a 1998 audi A8 and the one new DieHard Platinum poped up on the screen. Maybe old software at that Sears?
