Do Bosch 4+ platinum spark plugs exist for the D2?
All I found was the 4+ copper plugs that are still $8 a plug. Any alternatives? Do the spark plugs get changed with the t-belt service at Audi (the maintenance record I have doesn't say)?

They do and they have been great in my car.

I use regular one prong platinum plugs
I believe the multi-prong plugs are just for longevity beyond 50K miles, but I think it is unwise to leave a plug in that long. I'd rather have the plugs out every 40k or so and see how they are doing, and replace them with new inexpensive plugs. Pulling a plug out of an aluminum head that has been in there for 100k miles is an act of faith I've performed far too many times.
In my high(er) performance cars I use copper plugs and inspect/replace them more often.
Just my $0.02

Re: Do Bosch 4+ platinum spark plugs exist for the D2?
When I boughtg my car the previous owner left a set of 8 Bosch 4+ in the trunk - I installed then and so far so good - average MPG is 23.8 so maybe it's the plugs:-)
