Default No, tire wear has never been a problem on my 97
But I always keep it aligned. If it starts pulling one way or another, I determine the problem and have it aligned.

And I always get an as-found and as-left printout.

Default I've had H&R coilovers, new Conti SportContacts for 10K, no wear problems at all
Of course, alignment is crucial. I agree with what Paul says below.

Default Ive been doing that as well. however I have noticed excessive inner tread wear.
something is amiss.
