Does anyone own an A8L 2004 without ANY problems?

Knock on wood, I'm among the lucky. I have, on rare occasions, found that the MMI doesn't open when I start the car, but it always pops right up when I press the main MMI button.
Must say, I consider the phone to be a problem, but I don't think that's what you're referring to. Other than that, no complaints...yet.

In time it will be flawless.. remember the early Lincolins?
The first series to have power windows and locks and mirrors... they broke 80% of the time.. then a/c was a problem and electronic fuel injection... in time it will become better, unfortunatley you guys were the guinea pigs. Dont get me wrong if i had the chance i would buy a new one also but you gotta expect problems with the MMI system and same with BMW's pod.

I don't feel like being a guinea pig... I don't have any spare time and it would be incredibly aggravating.

Re: Have you ever own a car WITHOUT any problem at all?
Yes, two Japanese makes... that only had routine stuff long after 30,000 miles (lights needing replacement, etc). No 'technical' issues.

As of this post, mine is just about perfect! I have been used to driving Acura RL`s with NO problems so its a tall order to meet that expectation. I have had 11 Corvettes and except for the present 2000 roadster, a 99 Coupe and a 96 roadster, they all gave me gas!! But there was something about them that made me keep going back. I hope that I have the same feeling in a few years when Im ready for another Audi!
