Does quattro save on that siberian roads?

Neither heavy rains or mudslide.
It difficult to believe, but this is "normal" federal road to Yakutsk open only small period of the year.
First picture is bestest part of that road after ordinary rain.
I found the blog in Live Journal, where people ask a help. They stay from 16Th of September in traffic jam on that road (more than 600 cars)without food, water. Most of then return from vacation.
Governement simly waiting first cold to "decide" that problem.
Sorry for some politics here, but that country is a chairman of G8 now and called himself as "superpower".
