I doubt this is a case of needing a lube, but my driver side external door handle seems to catch often, resulting in torn fingernails. I'm exagerating about the nails part, but it is so annoying on a flagship car. Has anyone else found a fix for this, or am I in for a new non warranty door lock assembly?

I am noticing this on wet, or humid days. It opens to the slightly ajar position, similar to when you don't slam a cardoor shut with enough momentum.
