But, ehh, all 4,2 A8's has had this type of glass stock since 1994....

It was only an option on the smaller engines. Well, in europe anyway, you never know what AoA did, do you? ;-)

I went back to the place I got my car tinted and showed him that the car is dual-pane. He told me ya, he already knew that. He said he wasn't worried at all about cracking it with his gun. Uh, sounded pretty confident to me so I didn't bother asking more on "why are you not worried?" =)

His dad recently got a black S55 AMG. Dang that thing rocks. Too bad the quality of the interior bits isn't up to snuff...maybe in 2004 they will make it back to the standards that once upon a time Benz stood for. Monster engineering though. =)

He'd care if he cracked it. Worry that he didn't pay attention to the product warning.

I guess. Well, what matters now I guess is that it's all done, car looks fab with 20%...no cracks, all done. Whew! Inspection won't be a problem either. Just do like I always do, drive in with the fronts rolled down. Same when pulled over (yes, even in shi*ty New England winter temperatures). =D

Default Not True

Mine has dual-pane. I do not have the warm weather package (nor the rear sunshade). =)
