An 02 S8 for $16,499! Sweet deal. Or not...
Strangely, there is a link on the ebay listing page to the (real) listing of the car on autotrader. The pics and VIN are stolen from the autotrader ad. I called the dealer listed on the autotrader ad and they said that the car is not listed on ebay...
I have emailed ebay, hopefully they de-list it before someone gets burned.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6005& amp;item=24

These things are popping up over eBay. You see cars that are "flood" that have no visible damage and they want a large deposit. eBay is either getting very sloppy or the crooks are getting more clever.
I go up to eBay about twice a week. Ok, so I get a customer on a Web Ex demo and I get to surf the web for an hour or so. Seriously, in most of the look ups, there is atleast one phoney car. You see a car selling for $40k and one will be listed at $25k asking for a deposit. They should have people proof read these and know when something is wrong.

This guy is so crazy. I think it's the Al Queda trying to raise money for the "cause." A two year old 80k Jaguar XK8 for 22k. Don't think these guys are just preying on A8 owners. They are hitting every luxury car. Also, they are having locations in the states now as well.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2465616910&cat egory=6276</a
