I got burned a while back when a crook somehow 'stole' a legit ebay user's account. They guy had over 100 positive feedbacks, so he seemed good.
Then after some suspicious communications and unusual demands, I emailed ebay and asked them to look into it. The real owner of the account had no idea that he had listed a bunch of plasma tvs and other electronics. His account had been somehow hijacked and all emails were routed to the crook. He wasn't as obvious as these car guys are though, he actually priced the items reasonably...
Not sure what happened after that - probably nothing... Ebay didn't seem too concerned about it - but a local police investigator friend said that he had seen 'tons' of these kind of complaints. Happens all the time.

He said the car is in England and he writes just like the "other nut" from last week.
The same old story as last week.... What a putz! I wrote him and told him I have a friend near him to look at the car....I'll bet he will not write back again.. I do not see anything around the car that looks like the U.K. to me....

I sent alesx an email about the lawn mower and one about the Audi. He claimed his ID was hijacked.
However he claims the lawn mower is his. No likely, it's been auctioned once before too...
