Electric speed limiter

In Europe are all a8/s8 cars limited to max 250km/h top end speed. Is it possible to take off the electric limiter whit vag-com software?

That requires chipping the ECU.

Re: chipped speed limit

Both <A HREF="http://www.upsolute.com/db/ger/datenblatt_eng.php?datenblatt_sqlPage=2&ID=65">Ups olute</a> and <A HREF="http://www.mtmonline.de/English/A8/a8_300.htm">MTM</a> seem to indicate that their chips remove the 250 km/hr limit.

does anyone have one installed on an S8? Feedback? I have searched and haven't found much...
