Is there a list available of engine code (aux awn,abz...)versus tranny code for d2 A8 and S8 i need to find an ecu and tcu and speedometer for a 2001 s8 canadian, doesnt matter if speedo is in mph

From my 01.....$175 shipped to Canada. Search car-part.com and you'll find an ECU out of WI. They might have the speedo also.

Ok it's interresing Paul but the problem is that i don't know what tcu and speedometer and ecu are compatible togheter versus the engine code and transmission code. I need to be sure before buying anything. Steph

In 01 they had the engine code AUX.
You could use any instrument cluster out of a facelift A8/S8, they will all work.

I just bought a wrecked 2001 s8 with and all the powertrain included, but the guy sold tcu, ecu and speedometer. I will take this powertrain to swap it in my 1990 coupe quattro. So i need all 3 parts to make it start. You said that the speedometer even from an a8 would do the job? And i red that a 2002 S8 tcu have a ''squirt'' option? What is that and what is the benefit? And will it work with a 2001 ecu? Thanks for your answer Paul.
