Engine covers off, I'm breathing a little bit lighter already...
At a glance when I check engine oil, etc. I can look and visually inspect things.
The A8 engine is no beauty but who cares. I like the engine covers off much better plus it saves time when performing any work on the car (like breather hoses).

All that beauty gone.... :-(
I know they are only for looks, but to tell you the truth, I love the covers! Sure makes the engine compartment tight! I even wipe my engine compartment down when washing the car....

Sorry, I'm keeping the covers.
I cleaned them and put them away somewhere up high and out of the way.
I figure that yes, the next owner might feel differently about them. He can put them on if he wants.
