Engine Vibration?

Although I realize there is bound to be some engine vibration, there times that I feel there is excessive vibration when idle. What could possibly cause this, 2000 A8, 30K.

Udub:

Air leaks most likely.....start looking for a vacuum hose off somewhere. If so it will smooth out when the RPM rise.

As others have mentioned, poss. valve cover leak causing a coil pack to drop out sometimes. If close to plug change interval, would be a good place to start.
