European Street Parking Lights?

European Street Parking Lights?
I've got a USA B7 avant and have coded the cluster to European mode. This lets my factory 5w city lights work properly (the Euro way).
Additionally, and even better, when i park the car, i can set the turn signal stalk to either side and the front and rear low-wattage bulbs on that side the car illuminate.
I love this feature of my B7. Is it possible to enable this on a D2 car? Presumably E-code lights (or a city-light bulb retrofit) would need to be present at minimum.

Re: European Street Parking Lights?
My Euro D2 does the parked turn signal stalk trick. When I park the car with the turn signal in left or right position, the low-wattage lights illuminate that side, even when locked. So it should be possible.
I cannot comment on city lights working properly.

Does the NA D2 have the low-wattage bulbs you are referring to
Just curious what the placement is. I presume the rear sidemarkers are one set, with the front sidemarkers being the other, or...?
I've seen the euro D2 housings with the hole for the city light, but I can assume that its behaviour isn't dictated by its presence, but a relay or something similar?
Thanks!
