Default fault code 17549 help

'01 delivered last week- b. black with 78K. i like it. before even taking out decided to have 80K performed and diagnostics(ouch). can anyone offer insight into "load calculation cross check implausible value intermittent"? they think either mass air flow sensor, vent blockage or map sensor. shop is stuck- they could change all but suggest dealer to correct.

Default

It could be an old code. I would clear it and see if it returns.

Default Check with dealer

for my 2000, MAF problems were common, and so Audi extended the warranty for MY 2000 to 8 years/ 80,000 miles...so you might be a lucky man.

who am I kidding, you drive an A8: you know you're a lucky man! congratulations and welcome.

Default We dont have emmissions here -Vag com is great and yes you can clear codes and

so much more.
Buy the software and cable and proceed with caution.
Also obtain either Elsa win manuals or Bently.
These should contain fault codes /remedies/diagrams and so so much more.
Also there are parts catalogues such as ETKA
The learning curve is steep but we are all here to help.
Owning these will change your Audi A8 experience and save you Gazzilions of dollars not to mention the satisfaction of telling ,with confidence, the dodgy techs we sometimes meet that they are lying.
With the software you will know who to trust with your beloved car and be reassured that you will not be shafted as easily.
