Default You have the multi-piston caliper, you lucky boy........

According to the ETKA, these were not available until the 2000 model year. Whatever.... In that case, follow Randy's instructions for the S8. It doesn't look as if this caliper uses a seperate carrier unit- it is integrated into a single assembly. So ignore the part about removing the caliper carrier- you don't have one! There I go, jumping to conclusions and putting my foot in my dentures...........

Default That's likely it- my ETKA database is for the US models. (Kjell has the Euro version)

Euro models vary quite a bit in some respets from the US models (engine availability, options, when various improvements were introduced, not to mention the fact that the A8 was available in Europe a full two years before its US introduction). You may want to get the European ETKA parts database on CD, or a www.alldatadiy.com subscription if they have one for the Euro models.

Default I purchased mine off of ebay for around $20. Keep your eyes open, as they come up often.

One consideration- you need to have a high-resolution display to use this database- at least 1280X1024. I found this on ebay for $19 plus $5 shipping:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1865960612</a
