Former S4, new (slightly used S8 owner)
Hey all,
Checking in as a new member to the S8 world. We got a '02 Pearl White S8 a couple weeks ago and it is an incredible machine, we love it. It was tough to let go of our '00 S4 but we really wanted something a bit larger and more unusual, and I have always wanted one. Now I just have to fight my wife for the keys. We were considering the new S4 but truthfully, when I started looking at the performance, costs and size of the cars, the S8 ended up being a tremendous deal (relative I guess).

Nice car! Laurel finally sold their 03 S8 off the floor last week
I was in Laurel in Westmont last week, went to go talk to the salesman, Dragi and look at my 03 S8 (gun metal grey with the dark red leather interior). Also has the RS wheels, very, very sharp car.
It's been sitting there for a year at least.
Some guy on crutches about 50 years old is walking up to Dragi at the same time....he says "is this the car"? Dragi introduces himself and asks him if he knows about the S8, 360 HP, etc....the guy doesn't want to hear about it, he says "it's suppose to snow 3" tomorrow, I'm interested in the car, can you get snow tires put on it?". He never owned an Audi before....
Dragi sold him the car that night, the guy never drove an S8 before (nor did he drive it before he bought it)....I started talking to him when he walked up...he didn't want anything to do with me (I told him I wanted his name and number so I could buy it when he got rid of it). Walked away quickly so Dragi could sell it.
It was brand new and they had the sticker price marked down to 66K, and an RS6 right next to it for 86K....I know which car I would want!

Re: Glad to have you on board. What color is your interior?
It has the Ecru interior and has all the options except phone and alcantera. Not my absolute favorite color combo (I'm a silver/black traditionalist) but this was too good an opportunity to pass on.

Re: congrats anothe 02 pearl S8 owner i was starting to think i was the only one!
We actually saw a Pearl for sale this summer at Barrier Motors in Bellevue, WA but it disappeared before I could grab it.
