Default Found a decent Extended Warranty Company

http://www.autorepairwarranty.com/index_2.htm

I talked to Frank and seems like a very good coverage for $1499.00. If you look at their web site, this is Bumper to Bumper coverage with 0 deductible.

I think I am going to go with this guys. What do you guys think?

Default Don't know them, BUT...

..considering the A8/S8 vehicle, I'd be surprised to find a reputable bumper-to-bumper warranty with zero deductible for less than $2k.

What year/mileage on your car?

Hmm, I have a 2001 A8 that just turned 90K, still under CPO for another couple months. I would be interested in this warranty if it is underwritted by someone we could trust.

I googled their phone number, it comes up in an entry for a half-broken and scammy looking 'safeshoppingnetwork' site:

http://www.safeshoppingnetwork.com/detail.cfm?lstid=15157

All SSN seems to be is a aggregator that allows you to put their seal of approval on your site if you pay them for a listing.

Looks too shady to me.

I called them to verify this info. I talked to Frank and seems nice older gentlemen.

Family owned business. It is good thing you are doing your research. I will see if I can dig little more about this company.

Today is the last day to get the 0 deductible.

Default Family-owned biz is not what would sell me in the area of Insurance unless..

..they're brokers and not underwriting the policies themselves, which sounds as not being the case.

Default sounds too cheap

I bought an extended warranty from AAA, the auto club for $3,500. It covers up to 100K miles or 6 years. In my case, the car needed service just 2 months in that cost them $3,100. Anyone that knows this car knows that the service is expensive and so are the parts. I wouldnt trust an insurance company that would warranty this car for less than $3,000. I had a great experience with this policy and AAA is a well known company that has been around for years and years. I wish you the best of luck with whatever decision you make.
