A friend is looking at an 00 A8, did they come with the heated steering wheel or was it 01+

Good to know i'll search for it. FWIW the C5 body A6 4.2 and allroad also
had it for a few years, and they were problematic as well.
My 02 allroad has it, and it works great I just hope it lasts a long time =)

Fundamentally, if it has one that works, it's a bit of an aberration.
