Front end rattle/rumble
Suffering a front end rattle/rumble that indi's and dealers can't seem to locate.
So far, have replaced driver's wheel bearing, tie rod ends, anti roll linkages, track rod arm, discs and pads. Bloody thing is still there. Happens at low speeds over uneven residential roads. Not noticeable at all on the motorway, handling fine, braking excellent. If anything, the sound is less when the brakes are applied, and worse when the ambient temperature is warm. Could it be rattling pads or discs? Stuck where to look next....

Crap if noises are not the hardest things to describe. I too have a "rattle"...
more of a clunk actually when I roll out on my not so perfectly paved neighborhood street. It sounds to me almost like the strut is bouncing in the housing a tad. Speed bumps do not create the sound. Residential streets at say 5 mph and when there are small washboard bumps - clunk, clunk...The other day I did notice that the inner bushing on the front upper rear control arm were torn. Perhaps? I dunno. Keep me posted on what you find and I will do likewise.

Re: Front end rattle/rumble
Check the upper control arms very carefully if it is a clicking, they "float" when the suspension is not heavily loaded. I had one that rattled on spiral parking ramps at very low speeds. The ball was loose perhaps 1mm. Not obvious on casual exam. Replaced the one arm.

Control arm. Had the same problem 2 weeks ago backing out of uneven drive way...
...while turning left or while driving from a stop turning left onto a main road.
Replacement of the control arm fixed it.

Re: Front end rattle/rumble
it's where the tie rod end is hooked up.the shaft that goes in the steering rack is loose so when you drive slowly on rippled pavement it rattles, having mine restored for 400$ plus time.

Solution?

Any solution? Sounds like the same issue I’m chasing. So frustrating

Stuff not mentioned above:
Sway bar droplinks
Caliper carrier loose or bolts stretched - that's a tricky one, happened to me, the bolts can bottom out and if stretched will not clamp.
