well, my extra is painted body color, it eliminates the plate, and it looks like a euro plate style size and shape.
So, I am unsure what ur black one looks like. I thought all a8s had either US bracket that pops onto the bumper, or the euro style cover that is flush, and allows NO PLATE...
My shop screwed up, so I have no plate bracket, just the euro cover in gray ameystest
