I'm tired of getting tickets for not having a front license plate (purchased the car in Florida but live in Ohio) and even though I hate changing the nice, clean look of the front bumper, it looks like I'll have to do it. Dealer quoted $225 just for the bracket, paiting and installation not included, which seems way too expensive to me.
I cannot find it online so I'm hoping somebody here has one for sale or is willing to trade their bracket for my silver license plate delete.

Part number is 4D0 807 287 K. Fits 2000-2003 A8 and S8.

You're in luck if it's the right color...Light Silver Metalic Clearcoat ( Audi code LY7W ) off my 2001 A8. It was only on the car the first 3 years, before I bought it. I live in TN where no front plates are required.

This one is in real nice shape as you see in the photos (assuming they attached to this message correctly). The only noticable "damage" is a few screw marks, right next to the factory mounting holes which are completely hidden behind plate, when mounted.

I had to pay a small fortune, at the time, to order the delete and have it painted...so I don't need that.

Considering my expense, I wouldn't take less than $140 for this including shipping to you.

I have the part in Light Silver Metalic from my '01 A8. Was only on the car 3 years, until I bought it. I had to buy a "delete" and have it painted at considerable expense at the time, so I don't need your part.
I tried to post photos and a price, but it didn't take. I'm afraid I broke a forum rule (?)

It worked!!
As you see, the only damage is screw marks near the factory holes, which are invisible with plate on.
Wouldn't take less than $140 including shipping.
