Default Fumoto update

So I remembered to take a couple fumoto valve pics at today's oil change. There is some concern that it protrudes too far down. And, it prolly does before the nipple is dremelled off.
Here's with nipple:

..... and here's without:

I say without nipple it's okay.
YMMV
ps every oil change I promise, "this time I'm not going to spill a drop." Who am I crappin'?

Default Nice gadget. Still haven't put one on mine. I got better at spilling less than I catch...

...into the drain pan. Just have to make sure the drain plug doesn't block the hole in the drain pan or else the clean up takes longer than the entire oil change. :-)

Default I really miss the one on me UrS, Bologna. Ques: is the pan on the A same as the S? I think...

...(which is dangerous you know) that mine looks different. My plug IIRC fits flush into the pan, also.

I mean, look at all the scuffs on your pan - and - that's Mrs. Baloney's car we're talking about here (minimal JNR I'm guessing).

Discuss.

Would love to finagle one on mine otherwise - w/o regard to beloved NIPPLES.

Nipples are rising, while Buttocks remain firm...

Default WRT Scuffs and oil deal

Not really scuffs, just salt streaks subsequently wiped off w/ pan then good as new. Keep in mind all of this resides somewhat protected by the famous belly pan. urS fumoto resides on the side of the pan, whilst D2 is directly on the bottom.
Also I forgot to mention I got three gallons of Castrol, 10w 40 high mileage dino oil for $30USD at Autozone. Gonna get some more I think.
So, D2 manual sez it holds 7.5 liters oil. I put in 2 US gallons + maybe half a quart to fill. This is more like 8 liters I think. Xtra oil must go to the flux capacitor?
