FWIW I just sent the enclosed note to Recaro. I will also reach out to HBL per Chris' note.

I'm writing on behalf of myself and approximately 10 other Audi S8 (model years 2001 - 2003) owners that have the Recaro sport seats. The issue is that the inflatable lumbar support does not remain inflated. Mine for example will fully deflate in less than 30 seconds. I have been in contact with two individuals that have had their lumbar support successfully repired (one by Recaro and the other by Audi). The common part replacement is the "control unit". Audi part number 4D0959931. What support can Recaro offer? Do you have procedures for replacing said part? I/we are open to all suggestions that will allow us collectively and individually to regain full functionality of our seats.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Mark Pollan
