Getting ready to change the transmission fluid/filter on my '00 A6 4.2. Reading the great info on this from Paul W.'s Audipages, I figured I'd post my question in the A8 forum since you guys seem to have more experience in transmission fluid/filter changes. Is their really any difference in the Audi logo G05 216 2A2 for $15+ a liter versus the Pentosin or Febi/Bilstein G05 216 2A2 for $9 a liter? I've done archive searches, and cannot come up with a definitive answer.

pay attention to A/T filter brand...must be FILTRAN

After hearing some stories about the aftermarket supplied filter kits having the incorrect gaskets, etc, I'm going to spring for the OEM filter, so hopefully I'll get the right one.
