Gas guage stuck at half tank
I have a recently purchased 2000 A8L. The gas gauge was stuck at 1/2 tank. The dealer replaced both the sending unit and the instrument cluster. It is now stuck at three quarters full. They say to bring it in again, but they don't know what they will do.
Are there other parts besides the sender and the cluster that contribute to the gas gauge reading correctly?
Any suggestions?

You need Vag-com or the Audi service to fix this.
if the dealer you got the car from wasnt Audi then he likely did not have the gear to reset after installation.
