Default The ghost revving my A8's engine happened to me (my wife) too!

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/threads/16784.phtml">this phenomenom</a>. Car is a 1997 A8Q and has 145k-ish on it and it was 0F outside today.

My idea is that the throttle cable needs to be oiled and that under cold weather+wear-n-tear it gets sticky. Once she drove for a while, parked, ran another errand it straightened out, probably because the temp under the hood went up a bit.

Any pictures? Do we insulate? Replace? Lubricate?

Fortunatley its been rather warm here. I dont know what is under the boot, let me take a look. I have a feeling that it needs to be lubricated.
